Using Addness with Your Current Tools
Keep your internal chat, email, and documents as they are. What goes in Addness, what the AI reads, and built-in integrations.

You can keep using the tools you use now: internal chat, email, calendar, where you keep documents, customer management, and so on. What goes in Addness is what you're aiming for, who owns it, and how far it has progressed. Conversations and documents stay in your current tools, and the AI goes there to read them.
Write "what to do" and "how far it got" in Addness. Leave conversations and documents where they are.
What goes in Addness, and what stays in your current tools

If you write your list of what to do and its progress in both your current tools and Addness, you end up managing everything twice. Write what to do and its progress only in Addness. When something is decided in a conversation in your current tools, have the AI write it into that goal's body. Leave the original messages and documents in your current tools, and put links to them in the goal's body or resources.
Addness also has chat, Drive, customer lists, and meeting minutes, so you can move things over little by little if you want. You don't need to move everything from the start.

The AI reads your current tools
In setup's "2. Connect your work tools," you connect tools such as email, calendar, chat, and documents to your AI (Claude Code, Codex). The AI reads connected tools directly. You don't need to transcribe your work into Addness or copy and paste it.
When you hand over a goal with "Ask AI," the AI reads the goal's ideal and current state, reads the connected tools as needed, and moves the work forward. The tools you can connect are the ones your AI app supports.

Integrations built into Addness
Some integrations connect to Addness directly, without going through the AI.

Members only need to open ToDo now
The worry that "when another tool is added, nobody uses it" is answered by narrowing the place people look at every day down to one. All members open each day is ToDo now on the goal page. From there, they hand work to the AI with "Ask AI," and mark it complete when it's done. Conversations can continue in your current tools as before.
Progress gathers in Addness, so admins can see everyone's status on the members list page. There's less need to go around your current tools asking "where are we with this?"
